I'm sitting in church before service listening to the indigo girls,
watching kids run around, and thinking of how grateful I am that I go
to a church where I can take communion and be the scripture reader,
and love lo. :) And it's such a nice day!

One of the things I love about your church is the way the space can be reconfigured. I did a paper on this space once! As it is in your photograph, it speaks to me of "communion" being a "communal" activity, almost akin to the knights of the round table. Everyone surrounds it to make it a complete circle. The changability also speaks to the ever evolving family of God; it can expand to include more, be brought in at times when we need to circle the wagons for a bit of healing, etc.
