Inspire me Thursday

This is my contribution for inspire me thursday this week. The word we are suppose to work off of is diary. I do need to say that I did not paint the woman in this. She is the one we found in the attic here at work. However I do LOVE the way the painting and her go together. Diary's are the ink that comes out of our minds. And this is my way of expressing the ink trail that's been coming out of my mind lately. Mostly in my journal but sometimes on this blog.

Love how you said the "ink trail"...what an image! Sometimes visuals (like this), put together really can make one pause. Love your take on this prompt!

Excellent image and idea going on here. Gotta love those old, 1950's ads.

Adorable image! I'm very impressed with your story here. You're going through such an intense difficult process, and doing it with such grace and strength.

It's so different (well, of course) from my experience (Being a bisexual Wiccan I don't have any religious conflict to add to the complexcity of the sexuality itself- the pagan community's pretty open-minded that way. And with my family they had the "crutch" that I could end up with a man, which incedentally I did.)

It's very courageous and inspiring to come out in the Christian community- much less to your family. Best of luck as they adjust to knowing you more truly:)
