Top theologican of the last 25 years!

I have a need to embrace my inner nerdy theological side. And what better way to do that than to vote for the top theologian in the last 25 years. This great Finnish theologian posted a really long, extensive and well thought through list of recent theologians. I voted there under a different name. But I'm posting here my favorites. I haven't read all of them of course but I was glad I was familiar with a lot of them. It makes me want to do some reading.

My three picks are
James Cone, A Black Theology of Liberation (1981)
John D. Zizioulas, Being as Communion (1985)
Henri J.M. Nouwen, In the Name of Jesus

My pick for the top theologican (IMHO) is:
James Cone, A Black Theology of Liberation (1981)

One that everyone talks about when it comes to feminist theology, but that I find unhelpful and a bad dialog partner is Rosemary Radford Reuther: Sexism and God-Talk (1983). It felt like it replaced the shoulds and evil of patriarchy with another set of shoulds from feminist theology. And yes I get it's ground breaking yada yada yada! Why do I love black, Hispanic, and Libration theology but can't seem to find much feminist theology I like is beyond me! I should be all over feminists and feminist theology. I obviously love women so what's my deal!

Some of the theologicans I haven't read but which looked intriguing were:
Sarah Coakley, Powers and Submissions: Spirituality, Philosophy and Gender
Gustavo Gutierrez, We Drink From Our Own Wells (1984)
John T. Noonan, A Church that Can and Cannot Change (2005)
