Besides getting sick and the crazy bummer effect of the strike, I did have some fun moments. The Eiffel tower for example. Here's a picture, sorry it's sideways I didn't have time to turn it.I am now in Waterloo with J and am feeling better. Today I went to a Congolese church in Belgium. I also spent about two hours reading "Tipping the Velvet" in the pastors home of the church while they all spoke French around me. Quite the weird place to read such a book! J and I are going to Amsterdam tomorrow. If you have my flikr account I posted photos thus far.
The one thing I did do in Paris before getting sick was go to the museum d'Orsay. Which I loved! I really liked this guy Ferdinand Holder.
