Inspire me Thursday

I know it's not Thursday today, but these Inspire me Thursday people are fast at posting their stuff so I thought I'd better get with it. The Inspire me Thursday prompt this week is an open one. So this painting is based off a bible verse: John 1:46 Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see."

I feel like this is a conversation that happens a lot in the world usually non-verbally. Can anything good come out of: [Fill in the blank]? Out of you? Out of "them?" Out of New York, The South, San Francisco, the LGBT community, the Christian Evangelical Community.... and on and on!

And the answer is go and see.

Hello... I found your blog a few weeks ago as I was going from blog to blog. I wanted to thank you specifically for writing so openly about your struggles with self-injury. Your honesty is refreshing for me. Blessings to you!

pattie, happydays, cheryl, nicole sarah: Thanks for your comments! I really "heart" comments and have enjoyed seeing your work as well. :)

Lisa: Honesty about areas where we are human and growing cannot be underestimated. I know that other people's honest sharing was what helped me so that's why I do the same! Glad you said hi.
