Had a great weekend wandering about a new city. Saw the movie "Iron man" which we liked. Was really impressed by the "Underground railroad" museum and want to go back to see it again fully. Found some fun restaurants, wandered around a bookstore, and wished we went to a baseball game. We instead just stood in the midst of the reds parade streaming into the stadium. Next time I suppose.
Tonight I'm going to have a chat with a friend of j's about the book "If God is Love". Since both this one and the "If Grace is True" book have been so impactful. I'm looking forward to it. Look for more on that later.
Right now I'm trying to work, and not freak out about the potential if, whens, and how's of internship... And if not working so much to finish my degree will harm me vocationally for the rest of my life. (BTW - this type of freaking out is called catastrophizing and it's not a healthy defense mechanism).
