This is an "earthy" watercolor I did on a window I plucked out of an alley. That little brown thing in the bottom left corner is actually a baby pine cone. I thought it was cute. And yes, the earth is crying. This is actually a scene from a dream I had several years ago.

Wow! Is this incredible! How did you ever get the watercolor to work on glass? I find working with it on paper to be a big challenge. LOL. Very creative - love it!
Thank you for your kind comments on my blog.
Very fun blog - love the title - I was a chemist in a previous professional life so I really dig the analogy!

dew - glad you can appreciate the analogy! I have never been a chemist but wow do I like the analogies that come out of chemistry.
Thanks all for your kind comments.
Patricia - I just painted on it. There was no special thing about painting on glass. However I didn't use as much water as you might normally and went over it more than once.
Wonderful idea... to make use of an old window. It's really evocative, and the transparency enhances the theme I think! How fun it would be to paint each pane and tell a story...
That's beautiful!
well now, I am officially jealous of your artistic ability. Truly, truly impressive.
